It's 05:45 a.m. on Monday morning, the alarm goes off and my first thought is: “Get up or do you prefer to set the alarm clock to 06:45 a.m.? Stand up! My good resolution for this morning: start a new work week with a lot of energy - get out of bed! "
I think some of you know this situation, bed or morning exercise?
80% of the time I decide to do morning exercise instead of turning on the snooze mode on the alarm clock. In the last few months and years I have noticed that morning exercise gives me a much more positive start to the working day and that I am not so easily disturbed. The first days are tough, but once you've gotten started with morning exercise, your body quickly gets used to the early hours and it is no longer so difficult to get up so early. So for me it means to put on my running shoes and run for 40-50 minutes.
We, lipedema sufferers, should always go for a run
Put on compression pants if the Kompri is to stay at home.
However, I prefer the compression tights from the medical supply store. It just gives me the best feeling in terms of compression on my legs. But who wants to squeeze into their compression tights early in the morning to take them off after running and put on fresh tights after showering? Not me!
Since it is very important to me to wear compression tights during the day, the choice of tights for morning exercise is already canceled. I.e. you are spoiled for choice between long compression sports pants or shorts including CEP socks. At the moment it's already too warm for me in the morning to wear long pants, so my decision is for shorts and long compression socks from CEP.
I already owned the CEP socks before the lipedema diagnosis was made and I wear them very often when I go running. They offer you maximum compression on the lower legs and also support the ability to regenerate after exercise. You can just as easily use the socks for long car trips or air travel.
Why did I choose CEP?
Personally, I have made the experience that CEP offers me a very high level of compression and that my legs always feel "fresh" again very quickly after wearing the socks. They don't offer the optimal compression for the entire leg, but you don't always feel like putting on the tights or, if necessary, twice a day (sport & everyday life). So I think the socks are a good alternative.
The socks also convinced me because of their colors. At CEP you can really buy all kinds of colors. From black to green to pink, orange or white. With this selection, each of you will find something.
So get on with your long socks and have the courage to color!
