In this article I already told you about my first impression and love at first sight. In a nutshell: the bellicon is almost noiseless, gentle on the joints and a gift for us lipedema and lymphedema fighters. The sore muscles are at an absolute minimum, although you can work up a real sweat. Yes, but absolutely! Our flat knit compression works best when you move in it. The pressure on your body between the knitted fabric and muscles works properly on the skin and the lymph drains off better. Even after a short swing, when I'm waiting for tea or making a phone call, I feel it when I descend from the bellicon a faint tingling sensation through the body.

How do you train

For a while I preferred to work out in an online gym, but now I've switched to the manufacturer's own training program. bellicon Home offers really great training videos and, above all, plans that you can go through. One problem that I have to recognize again and again is that I need a clear structure for my sports units. Fixed dates that are in the calendar and represent a certain commitment for me. I am a typical candidate who pulls through a video full of zest for action and then haphazardly sets the priorities wrong again and loses the thread. Thanks to the various training plans, divided into levels of difficulty, focal points or units, I stay on the ball much more effectively.

So that you can find a start for yourself, fill out a short self-assessment that also includes your fitness level. This will suggest a training plan that will slowly introduce you to the sports equipment. Of course, you can also choose which plan your toes are itching for.

In order to pursue a goal, I have decided to work off my remaining excess weight in kcal.

175.000 kcal are waiting for me. That is quite a lot of lasagna, a couple of beer kegs or 1,75 dinosaurs.

My best training tips from 5 years of lipedema trampoline experience

# 1 - Hömma, I'm not an express train

Since you can use your mini trampoline according to your wishes and z. If, for example, you can also adapt to your weight, in some cases you are not as fast with the repetitions of the trainer in the video. It does not matter anyway! Jump and swing at your pace, just as you can handle it. Let us advise you here which strength of the rubber rope rings is the best for you.

# 2 - pack the slippers

During demanding training sessions or if you are still unsure of your feet, it is best to get on the trampoline with shoes on. However, make sure to also do videos without shoes to strengthen them.

# 3 - I'm getting lame wings

If you have been punished with lipedema on the arms, work your way up slowly to the arm exercises and do not overexert yourself with them. Of course I couldn't help it and did it quite strictly, which cost me a lot of pain. Due to the gentle resistance of the bellicon itself, however, I never had this phenomenon in my legs. Here you are smarter than me and listen to your dinosaur arms.

Yes but hello! When the noticeable high mood occurs during training and the trainer charmingly advises you to wear it on your face, then you can only smile and be grateful to have it at home.

Granted, it is not that easy to accommodate in small apartments, but maybe in that case the foldable legs are a solution for you.

Training on the trampoline is, besides swimming, probably the gentlest thing that you can tackle with any weight at any age. Give your lymphatic system a kick, get it going (hey, swing ...) and if you are already a hula hoop fan, how about the next level on the bellicon?
