Terms and Conditions
Participation in the competition from Lipödem Mode, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer, is free of charge and is based solely on these conditions of participation.
Expiry of the raffle
The duration of the raffle extends from 14.02.2019, 00: 01 clock to 24.02.2018, 23: 59 clock. Within this period, users will have the opportunity to participate in the raffle online.
Participation
To take part in the competition, you have to comment under the competition article “Meet and Greet with Madlen Kaniuth”, under the post on Facebook or Instagram. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Submissions received after the closing date will not be considered in the drawing.
Participation in the competition is free.
eligible
Eligible are natural persons who have their place of residence in Germany or another EU country and have reached the age of 14. Participation is permitted to all readers of the blog.
Should a participant be restricted in his business ability, it requires the consent of his legal representative.
The operator reserves the right to exclude people from participation at its own discretion if there are legitimate reasons, for example
(a) in the case of manipulation in connection with access to or the performance of the Sweepstakes, (b) in the event of a breach of these Terms of Participation, (c) in the event of unfairness or (d) in the case of false or misleading claims in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes.
Profit, notification and transmission of the prize
The prize is a hand-signed copy of the book “Big Legs Despite Diet” by Madlen Kaniuth.
The winners will be determined after the closing date as part of a random raffle among all participants. If the competition is linked to a task, only those participants who have completed the task correctly will be entered into the prize draw.
The winners of the raffle will be informed promptly of the prize by email.
The delivery of the prize will be made exclusively to the winner or to the legal representative of the minor winner. An exchange, a pickup and a cash payment of the profit are not possible.
Any costs incurred for the delivery of the profits shall be borne by the operator. Any additional costs associated with making use of the prize shall be borne by the winner. For a possible taxation of the profit the winner is responsible.
If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of 3 days, the prize can be transferred to another participant.
Termination of the raffle
The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent a planned course of the raffle.
Privacy
For the participation in the raffle the indication of personal data is necessary. The participant assures that the information provided by him about the person, in particular first, last name and email address are true and correct.
Lipedema Mode collects, stores and uses the data for the purpose of running the competition.
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his name and place of residence in the media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the operator's website and its social media platforms.
The participant can revoke his declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the contact details of the organizer given in the imprint area. After withdrawing the consent, the collected and stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately.
Applicable Law
Questions or complaints in connection with the competition are to be directed to the operator. Contact options can be found in the imprint area of the website.
The operator's competition is subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The judges' decision is final.
Severability
If any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of these terms and conditions. Instead of the ineffective provision, the legally permissible provision which most closely approximates the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies in the event of the existence of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
