Hats, hats everywhere. I just can't stop buying hats. And I don't even need that. After all, I need one for every occasion, in every color and for every weather condition. Just like shoes, only on your head. The moment I put this red melon on, it was done for me. I knew immediately why I wanted to combine it in one outfit and I just have to share the result with you!

Courage to wear a hat

You certainly know this effect when you have something present in yours and it suddenly appears in the whole environment. That's exactly what I'm experiencing with hats. Since I've been wearing them on a regular basis, I notice all the other hat wearers even more and I love this variety. Hats are just a great accessory to round off the outfit in a classic and elegant way. And there is definitely the right model for every head.

Fortunately, I have a very grateful head and can wear pretty much anything headgear. Except for bicycle helmets, but they always look stupid. Wait, can you wear a hat over it?

It doesn't always have to be black

I am often asked which colors are best to choose in order to be able to combine everything in everyday life. I think navy blue from average a great alternative to black or skin colors. It's a bit like jeans blue - uncomplicated, timeless and endlessly combinable! So dare to move away from the typical "safe" colors and believe in yourself that you can easily integrate a little color into your wardrobe.

As you can see in this outfit, the navy blue arm socks in mediven 550 can relax the look and give it a noble character. Of course the Swarovski® * motif does shaft his rest. Here you will find another Swarovski® outfit and all information about the sparkling addition.

Do you already know my favorite jeans from? Luna Largo, that you see in the pictures? Here you can find out more about pants for women with lipedema, lymphedema and plus-size curves. And if you want to see her in action again, you'll find it here is another outfit.

First of all, I wish you a lot of fun with your very own hat looks and especially when shopping afterwards!

I'm Caroline, born in 1989 and live in Augsburg. Why did I start the lipedema fashion blog? At the beginning of my diagnosis I was completely helpless before an uncertain future. Now, a few years later, through active participation in self-help groups and a lot of research, I have accumulated a wealth of experience that I would like to make available to other affected persons in one place - without the detour via private groups on Facebook. The fashion component is of course due to my hobby. At the time, I promised myself that I would never be restricted by compression stockings. This attitude gives other patients courage and so Michaela advised me to start a blog.

  • Hello Caroline. So I don't live that far away in Neu Anspach. How do I find a competent medical supply store for compression supplies? Can you advise me? Lg Kirstin

  • So, what happens in the summer months? I also spend at least one month every Summer in a Southern country with 35-45 degrees C. of temperature ...

    • Well, specially during high temperatures one should wear the compression garment. You can help yourself with wetting the fabric to cool down and feel refreshed. I always carry an aqua spray with me.

  • hey 🙂
This is really something new lipedema fashion .. It should have existed earlier. I've been sick for almost 13 years. Wear compression tights and full compression arm bolero. Since my illness, I wanted to make fashion for lipedema patients, everyone laughed at me back then
. It is so difficult to find something suitable and beautiful. In any case, everything is good and good luck ✌

  • Hi, I have had good experiences with the extra well ventilated "crotch" on the compression pants. I don't know what their real name is, but you don't sweat that much in the crotch.
