Outfit Crosses in gray: snow, forest and British chic

Snow, forest and British chic

A new year has begun and when the first snow turns the dark winter gray into a romantic setting, a walk in the forest is just the thing. The silence, the cool air and the sound of the crackling snow under your shoes and the stress of the last few weeks are forgotten.

Gray crosses

The new pattern Crosses of average for Mediven 550 immediately inspired me and I just had to create a British look for it - I wear it with passion! The Boden label is one of my favorite brands and always hits my heart with classic cuts and fresh, creative color and pattern combinations. What fits better than a very traditional pattern on the legs with which you can do so much. Whether 7/8 trousers and chic Chelsea boots or with a skirt and slippers, just play a little with the conservative touch and casually incorporate it into the outfit, then nothing can go wrong.

If you are looking for an overview of the new patterns, I have our article with the Campaign presentation. You can finally order them from February 1st, 2017!

Wear what you enjoy

Fashion should be fun, give a good feeling and convey this to the outside world. It always exudes your own taste, because you bought the clothes for the same reason. So if you like something, wear it. Because at this moment it does not matter whether others like it, only whether it is doing something good for you at that moment. Does it give you self-confidence, does it make you feel pretty, does it underline your lifestyle, does it bring you joy, does it inspire you?

And if it's patterned compression stockings, wear them! No matter what your legs look like, it is your attitude towards life and your taste with which you can dress them. And if you enjoy patterns, nobody should take them away from you. I can understand when some people don't want to pay extra attention to their legs because they are difficult to bear. It is not easy to ignore the hatred of your own body. But as is so often the case in life, it pays to see the good in the bad. Because with a strong expression, the legs stand out by themselves. So the glances happened a long time ago. And if you opt for a patterned compression, the looks won't change, because the legs are the same, you just wrap them in your taste and naturalness. They are, after all, a part of you that wants to be dressed as well as the rest of your body.

I'm Caroline, born in 1989 and live in Augsburg. Why did I start the lipedema fashion blog? At the beginning of my diagnosis I was completely helpless before an uncertain future. Now, a few years later, through active participation in self-help groups and a lot of research, I have accumulated a wealth of experience that I would like to make available to other affected persons in one place - without the detour via private groups on Facebook. The fashion component is of course due to my hobby. At the time, I promised myself that I would never be restricted by compression stockings. This attitude gives other patients courage and so Michaela advised me to start a blog.
