The Phoenix Project - the 2rd quarter

Phoenix Project - Halftime.

How time flies. It's already the beginning of July and I personally ask myself the question: What has become of the so successful and great year for the zodiac sign Libra? In the following, I would like to reflect on the first half of the year and explain why things sometimes don't go as expected. Everything is just not always great. But there are also ways to find a light from the darkness again.

Who also believes horoscopes - papperlapapp!

Well, normally, horoscopes shouldn't be believed. But for this year it promised so much, there had to be something for me too. But happiness, success and health look different.

It all started with an uncomfortable winter; December was incredibly stressful at work. The Christmas season flew by and I only got in the mood a little.

In an accident in England in February I burned my face and ear. It survived countless visits to the dermatologist who was at some point at a loss, about 40m of plaster, my nerves and above all 3,5 months until the wound finally closed completely. All that remains is a scar. Well, you can live with that.

When things don't go the way you want them to

At the same time as my accident, my colleague was absent for a long period of time, which meant a lot of overtime for me, really a lot. At some point, however, you ask yourself the question, “Why is everything going so modestly? Will that happen again someday? ".

Millionaire, that would be the person who can answer these questions. The fact is that you can only change something about external influences to a limited extent. Certainly my examples are also for other peanuts, but still it pulls you down and you don't have any great phoenix projects or # lipedema phoenix experiences to report.

It is similar with lipedema. You feel powerless, you don't want to exert yourself and you have no vigor in any way with z. B. to deal with the subject of fashion or nutrition. At some point you fall into a hole and it is very difficult to climb out of it.

All roads lead back to the phoenix from the ashes

You can't get out of such a hole overnight. It is an ongoing process with a goal in mind and small steps to success. In order not to lose the drive again, it is important to be aware of the following in retrospect:

what was actually good in the last few weeks? What made me happy personally? How can I incorporate these moments of happiness and life rafts into my everyday life in order to keep moving forward?

Make people aware of who or what is good for you. Change processes. Sounds harsh and possibly a bit theoretical, but if it helps ... who cares? The whole thing can be exemplified by the phoenix rising from the ashes. It certainly wasn't an easy job getting out of there either, but the result was worth it.

The second half of the game is crucial

Things have been improving since mid-May. And that is also the motto for the remaining months of the year. This year there is still a happy ending, no matter how!

The background to this more thoughtful article is to show that things don't always go well. There are setbacks and sometimes not too scarce. But the will to want to get up again always counts. And then it goes ahead at full speed.

Phoenix Project - Our moments of happiness and islands of calm in the 2nd quarter

My #LipedemaPhönix - moment was the triathlon - I have surpassed myself.

lipoedem fashion jp morgan run phoenix project

My Phoenix Project moment was that I was able to take part in the HP Morgan corporate challange in Frankfurt - without pain.

The visit to Luna Largo just left me with lasting enthusiasm. Fashion gives so many girls a smile, it's just wonderful.

My #LipedemaPhönix moment is definitely my pregnancy.

Time for yourself and, above all, for what you want to do. Without having to think about what others think of you or what To Do up next: my phoenix project moment was Rock am Ring.

For five days just doing what you want in an unconventional way. Getting started with everyday life is difficult every time, but it is simply the most relaxing holiday you can imagine. Fresh air, great people, loud music and life without a clock. Wonderful! That made up for everything that went so wrong this year.

The community in the 2nd quarter - inspiring!

I'm Pia, 26 years old and live in beautiful Central Hesse. Professionally, I am a hotel buyer for a package tour operator, responsible for Ireland. Why am I on the lipedema fashion blog? That's a good question because I am not affected by lipedema myself. The question quickly arises: yes, and why are you participating? You have no idea about the subject! Well, it's very simple - I'm a fashion enthusiast and especially when it comes to beauty. I don't really have any hobbies, at least not such as painting or playing a musical instrument (to be honest, I'm worlds away from them). So I basically look after the cosmetics sector - my hobby! With just a few means to a radiant appearance - and the positive charisma does the rest! Who else looks at compressions, girls?
