Pregnant with lipedema: Juzo's pregnancy compression

Hello my love,

many of you have asked me about pregnancy compression. Today write you a few lines about it. In the medical supply store I got the new body part from juzo recommended. I always wore it myself average, but I'm open to new things. Said and done!

Long waiting times ...

Unfortunately, Juzo took a little longer to produce the compression. To be precise, I was allowed to wait five weeks. I personally found it very long. Due to the growing belly, I couldn't wear the old compression either, so I was without compression during this time. Thank goodness I didn't have any complaints and didn't notice any water retention. TOI Toi Toi!

... but pleasantly comfortable

The special thing about pregnancy compression is the flexible body part. This is without compression. It feels soft and cuddly and is really great to wear. The holes in the body part make it so nice and flexible and at the same time the air circulates better.

At the top, below the chest, there is now a Velcro fastener. It can be conveniently made wider and narrower as needed. Because in the evening my stomach is much rounder and bigger and I really have to keep it up.

The compression goes into the groin, the pressure on the legs is the same as usual. Only the belly is left out to protect the baby. I think every mother or mother-to-be can understand how uncomfortable any pressure on the stomach is. Let me tell you - it is comfortable to wear and I really am serious.

Pregnancy compression - conclusion

Basically, I am really convinced. Juzo is very comfortable to wear and I find the body part very comfortable. The only negative point I can cite is the long waiting time. But as the saying goes: “Good things take time”.

  • Dear Anja,
Thank you for this contribution. As far as I can tell, it is unique in its clarity in the German-speaking network. The quality of the photos is helpful. If I had found this article three years ago, my thighs would have been well compressed during pregnancy and certainly not exploded like that. I hope that many of those affected read your blog!

  • Hi Anja,

thank you for this great article! Helped me a lot 🙂 Have you noticed a change in your legs? I'm so scared of gigantic weight gain in the SS, even though I have had an operation.

    • Hello Mila,

So far I really don't notice any change. Neither pain nor storage and I'm really happy about it. Can understand you completely, one really cares about it. When measuring the week before last, my medical supply lady also said that all dimensions remained the same.

      All love for you!
      Anja

      • Thank you for your answer! I am happy for you that there is no change or it is normal for healthy women when they get water in their legs in the SS. As long as everything disappears again ... all the best to you and the baby

  • Hi Anja,
I have also been diagnosed with lipedema for 3 years. The subject of pregnancy now also concerns me. Unfortunately, I cannot get pregnant naturally through my husband. This is of course made more difficult by lipedema. I did not get any answers from answers on the subject of pregnancy and lipedema or artificial insemination. Can someone give me information about it here. Thank you Julia

  • Hi Anja,
Unfortunately, my health insurance has refused my second compression for pregnancy because I already received two compressions this year. However, the first one was before the SS. I cannot manage the entire SS with one compression and still need an exchange supply! Do you have any information about legal requirements? I thought that in the SS one was legally entitled to a new compression every four weeks ...
    Thank you. VG Mila

  • Hi Anja,
I would like to know if you only had 1 supply for the SS and when it was appropriate. Did your first fit you to the end?
I'm in the eighth week, my stomach is already growing ... I had the Juzo supply measured 8 week ago, after 1 days of wearing it I already feel the part is too tight, my stomach is bigger in the evening too. Press it on the waistband, I think it was measured too tight, I can't take the Velcro tape at all, I am currently putting it in the waistband, I just wonder how it should be, if you have a tip, I would be happy to receive your feedback .

  • Hi Anja,
I'm not sure now that my message got through, I would have liked to ask something about your Ss care, unfortunately mine does not fit at all, maybe you will like my answers :)
