It’s like that… women are repeatedly told that we only look good in sexy high heels. But the fashion industry is setting completely different accents there. The shelves, magazines, catwalks are full of sneakers of different types and shapes and that for almost every look - whether elegant, sporty or even sexy. Because a sneaker that differs from classic running shoes by its material properties is also an absolute eye-catcher and also significantly more comfortable than any pumps.
I would like to introduce you to two of my favorite outfits with my red statement sneakers:
The absolutely sneaker casual look
Casual jogging pants, a simple shirt, maybe a denim jacket for the colder hours and sneakers in fire red.
The perfect outfit for a normal everyday life. Not too wild and still interesting.
Personally, I like it when you can see the ankles, the freeankle look interrupts the transition to the shoe and lets the eyes stop for a brief moment before focusing fully on the sneakers.

By the way, it doesn't have to be a red sneaker, of course, that's my personal preference. Even a blue, gold, silver or green sneaker can give your everyday look something special. And to do this, you don't even have to reflect the color of the shoe in your clothing, it is enough if a small accessory catches the splash of color. It can be a handbag, like mine, but also jewelry or nail polish - that's entirely up to you.
The little black one - the all-rounder
But if you generally like it a bit more chic, you can also choose the little black dress. The little black dress in particular is so chic that a suitable sneaker can loosen it up. A little break in style, so to speak, which makes the whole outfit interesting - because honestly, anyone can do that in a black dress and black pumps!
In my variation, I wear a black, short dress with sensual lace trim on the shoulders. It is very elegant in itself and this red sneaker with the thick white sole and the satin ribbons is the perfect partner to make the whole thing a little more casual.
I know that many women are reluctant to combine something elegant with something as sporty as a pair of sneakers. Maybe because you think it would visually shorten our legs, it would make us look thicker. But hey - who cares !? You too have a right to comfort and a right to join this sneaker trend. I can only encourage you to trust yourself to stock up on your new favorite sneaker and to conquer the world with it!

Of course there are also occasions where a sneaker is rather inappropriate, for example at an elegant wedding. In that case, pumps are of course a good choice. Nevertheless, the beloved sneaker does not have to stay at home, but can save its big entrance for the later hours of the evening. And I assure you you will look a lot better than the "worn ballerina" or "flip flops" faction!
I always have it with me - and so should you! Come on, let's sneak through the world together.

Dear Jule,
I am thrilled with this article. I think I get such cool sneakers too. The combination with the black dress suits you perfectly. But you're also a pretty one. But my only point of criticism is: why don't you wear flat knit compression?
Hello christina
thank you for your dear compliment !! 🙂
I don't wear flat knit, because I finished the operation in January 2018 and now don't need flat knit !!
Kind regards,
Christmas
