City break London
Hello dear ones,
here we are again and we've been traveling again.
This time it went to the big city of London. A little city trip. We stayed for 3 nights at Best Western Seraphine Hammersmith decided. The location of the hotel is in the Hammersmith district, there is already a lot going on. From there we walked into the city. If you are not good on foot, you can use public transport here.
We drove from the airport to the hotel in a rental car. For those who are not used to driving in big cities, it is advisable to use public transport here as well. But since my husband travels a lot in Berlin, that wasn't a problem. The left-hand traffic was a bit of a challenge, but we also dealt with that.
Sight seeing
Three days for London are a drop in the ocean. There is so much to discover, so much to see and do. It would take several years to explore every corner. On my to-do list was the big one Big Ben and the London Eye. But we also have it for Tower of London and the one next to it Tower Bridge made. It is amazing what great buildings to see in London. Very filigree churches, statues and bridges. After a short detour (you can also say we got lost) we ended up in China Town from London. It was like a little world of its own - animes were shown in the cinema, specialties were served in the restaurants. I was blown away.
I spent my birthday in an English pub. We also found Indian food to be almost more popular than typical in England Fish and chips is. Who knew? That was new to me, but from experience I now know that the English have really good Indian cuisine ... the sentence is a bit confusing.
Small conclusion
London is extremely spacious and there is a lot to discover. Absolute compression obligation! Comfortable shoes are a must, if you are not good on your feet you can use the hop on / hop off buses.
Now I let a few more pictures speak
I highly recommend a trip to London.
