Self-esteem: We are worth loving ourselves

I wish all readers a wonderful good day.

Ich heiße Anja and was asked by dear Caroline whether I would like to write a blog post.

Brief facts about me

  • I also have lipedema
  • had 3 operations
  • 1989 born
  • 156 cm small
  • Fashion style playful and girlish

It is not easy to live with lipedema and to come to terms with it. I think this is all the more great Blog.
It is a symbol for courageous women - who deal openly with their illness, do not hide and wear what they want.

Basically: wear what I want and don't hide! We are worth loving ourselves.

To see compression as a fashion accessory is difficult for many. We think everyone looks at our legs and immediately sees what we are wearing there, that we are sick. But that only happens in your mind. I wear my compression tights in public - that is, leggings under skirts. Nobody has ever looked at me strangely because of that. Wear them with dignity, self-confidently and with pride! You are all great women who are worth loving yourself!

Self-esteem starts in the closet

My closet is in total chaos. I usually look for a favorite piece - an exciting piece - with flowers and ruffles or with a striking print. Since my chocolate side is the upper half of my body, I just emphasize it more. A simple skirt or jeans come around the bottom. And then people’s eyes are on the right places.

Find out where your chocolate side is. Do you have great breasts? Accentuates it with a beautiful neckline. Do you have a great waistline? Then emphasize this with a figure-hugging shirt. Try for yourself what suits you! And then don't be afraid to use your weapons!

With this in mind, I say goodbye and hope I was able to push you a little in terms of self-esteem!

All the best
Anja
