Lymphedema fighters couldn't be happier, because their toes are now really comfortable. The toe cap itself has been around for a long time, but now medi offers it too seamless at! I was allowed to test her heart and soul... eh, big uncle and little toe. I will then tell you the result on a scale from one to ten...n. Hehe, joking aside – let’s go!

Where does the shoe pinch?

Nowhere, I say. Because even though I don't have any severe lymphedema in my toes (you can easily see that because of my negative... Stemmer's sign recognize), there are days when I tend to store things and am happy about the relief. At first I was worried about the individually wrapped toes I also find enough space in my shoes. Well, I haven't tried it in the 15 cm high heels, but I absolutely did in regular lace-up shoes no problem and the seamless toe cap didn't require any more freedom than I already need with the closed toe. Great, so we can breathe a sigh of relief.

Depending on your needs, you can decide which variant you prefer:

  • Toe cap closed
  • Toe cap open
  • Closed toe cap, without little toe
  • Toe cap open, without little toe

Do I have to set the alarm earlier from now on?

My biggest concern at the beginning was whether I would be able to get dressed. I tested both the closed and open versions and I'm relieved to tell you that it's not as difficult as I imagined. According to other experiences from the community, this is Seamless toe cap is even easier to put on than the one with seams. Yay, all clear! So you don't have to get up earlier for this. As with anything else, you'll probably set a new record every time you wear it.

Stop enjoying the color, right?

All colorful fighters among us can breathe a sigh of relief, you don't have to forego any standard or trendy color with the seamless toe cap. You can also get them here in all three compression classes. Your doctor will advise you which one makes the most sense for you. No matter which ccl you end up with, with the mediven 550 you can fortunately always rely on high wall stability and this is of the utmost importance, especially in the case of lymphedema, so that you can decisively stand up to the lymphatic congestion in the tissue. Or better yet, the stocking.
